Indy Gencon

Journal Entry: Wed Aug 6, 2008, 11:48 AM
I'm busy making preparations for next week when *RalphHorsley and I will be attending and exhibiting our artwork in the art show of Indy Gencon, in the USA. This would be a lot easier but for the fact that we live in the UK! Getting ourselves and all our art to the show is quite a challenge. Plus of course we now have our 1 year old son Leo to bring along too.

I am sure we will all have a good time. It is a really huge convention and the art show has nearly 100 artists exhibiting their work. I am really looking forward to catching up with other artist friends of ours that will be going. I hope Leo will be ok on the plane. He is generally a very happy outgoing little boy and so I think he will enjoy his holiday in America.

If you are going to the show, do stop by and say hi :)

I have re-designed and updated my web site. It now has a wider format to allow for the new images to be shown a little larger than before. You can check it out at [link]

Question

Journal Entry: Sat Jun 21, 2008, 2:28 AM
So heres a question for the technically minded amongst you ;)

This image [link] is no longer appearing in my gallery. The thumnb nail just appears for me as a red x but when you click on it you get the full view. Any ideas why that is?

There maybe others but I haven't checked them all.

Dungeons and Dragons

Journal Entry: Mon Jun 9, 2008, 7:25 AM
Dungeons and Dragons 4th edition has been released! I'll be posting some of the artwork that I did for the core rule books here on DA over the next few days/weeks. I was really happy to have been able to work on this project. Wizards of the Coast are a great company to work for and I have been a fan of the game for many years. I remember studying the artworks of Larry Elmore and Jeff Easley in the D&D editions that I had when I was a teenager and wishing that one day I could work as an artist like them. They are both true masters of fantasy art.

You can also see some great images that Ralph did for the D&D books in his DA gallery *RalphHorsley :)
