Artist's Comments
Here is the reason why I have been a little quiet on DA of late... I have been working on artworks for a deck of tarot cards. There are 78 crads in the deck and each one needs a painting. Quite a big project! I also have an extensive manuscript to follow that has been written by the deck's author.
These are a sample of some of the Trump and Court cards. I have tried to use angles compositions and strong light sorces to add to the drama. With so many artworks to complete there is a limit to the time that can be spent on each one, but I hope that the set as a whole will make an interesting visual impression  Previously I didn't know much about the symbolsim and history of the tarot so it has all been quite educational  The deck is now available for sale from [link] |
