This griffin painting was done for the packaging of a range of sterling silver jewellery of fantasy creatures that I have recently designed. It is a symmetrical, design style image in order to compliment the jewellery that it accompanies.

The jewellery will be available later this year. I am excited about this product range and I'll post here more about it when it is released for sale :)

I love the blue agianst the warm colors of the giffion, great job as usaul!!1I only wish the griffion was bigger on the page!!! But it is still a must fav!!

I love how the Griffin has such warm colors, against the blue background.
You paint so beautifully, and this piece is no exception! I'd say what I like about this, but I love everything - the wings, the face...

Good to hear you like it :) Yes I hoped the blue background would make the gold of the griffin stand out.
lol, sorry the griffin isn't bigger ;) - it is designed like this for a purpose to tie in with the packaging that it is be used on.
