I did this artwork as a ladies t-shirt design for Spiral. As such is simple in both composition and colour and is designed to fade into the black of the shirt.
The idea was to capture mood and create an effective and hopefully popular design for a gothic style garment.

It caught my attention immediately amidst the other art pieces comprising the gallery! The hooded cape, bowed head, clasped hands clutching a cross, and the tears of intercession for brothers and sisters in a sea of need. Laura seems like an introvert to me, willing to spend the time in contemplative isolation not only for her betterment but for those nearest and dearest to her bosom. This young maiden will no doubt reach out past her sphere of connection and envelope other folks with requests unknown aussi. She is prone to help and edify which only leads to a better situation on all counts. Laura will be in the fray for the long haul; whatever it takes!
