Another pencil sketch. A friend of mine is getting married and has a woodland theme to her wedding. I have done a series of sketches for a little booklet that she is having for the order of service. This picture accompanies one of the reading, and illustrates Ents in love

It's been good to draw a few "nice" subjects rather than the usual skulls and monsters I get commissioned to do!

Is that an Ent and Entwive, must be in the I Age of Middle-Earth. Did you know that the first talking trees made public in the media were inspired by Dunak, a Slavic Siberian type of creature. The Slavic Siberians had thought they heard the boughs of trees creaking so they though that they were alive and when men were sent out to check out the tree they would never return, yet most likely because of wolves or something.
