The brief for this commission was a close up of a sword, held by a woman, showing the reflection of a dragon in the blade. Is it quite a simple image but hopefully striking in it's design. As you will see I went a bit dragon mad with the details ;)

Maybe she's friends with the dragon, maybe she's a dragon slayer? - I'll let the viewer decide.

Sketched in pencil and painted in Photoshop.

I must say she is nether friend or foe, but a reflection into her true self and image. Beautifully done, I love it.
This makes me feel like I'm looking into the sword and my reflection is a dragon ^^; Not that I would mind that since dragons rule!! :D
The sword handle is just................ and so are her armour and the dragons on her belt.
I love this one as much as all of your art

Thanks :) Maybe I shall have to paint that too now, or maybe just keep you guessing ;)
Thanks :) Good to hear you like the details. It was a lot of fun designing all the dragon bits ;)
Thanks :) You image sounds like a cool idea, very clever. Using reflections is a good tool, as you can bring more into the compositon and story telling of the picture.
