This is just awesome! and I knew I saw this one here at your gallery, a quick question, does this image have to do something with the Italian band Rhapsody of fire?? one of my friends got a T shirt of Rhapsody depicting this dragon xD, And I was like, "dude... that's not rhapsody art" that's Ironshod work!
my new wallpaper is now this... first got to figure out how to get it to be my wallpaper... ohh... soo many buttons to choose from... *somewhere in the far distance something blows up* um... maybe i shouldn't press that one again... hehe
Beautifully rendered, Your astonishing technique makes one believe in Dragonz. The dead mens bones testify to their evil, although Dragonz gotta eat I guess , so just survival for her and her 'chicks'. I'm writing an epic poem which features a Dragon and I'm trying to illustrate it too, but my Dragon looks flat compared to yours. If you get a moment, take a peek at my 'Dragon Child' . I'd love it If I could afford to hire you to do it .
Wow, thanks for making this a wall! I dunno if you answered that guy up there, but it seems to me the man is wearing red dragon armour and his shield is likely of the same stuff...thus fire retardant. Eh? Anyway. I never commented before on this piece, so I'd like to say I like the epic poses of the two, and the detail and glossy appearance of the dragon's scales. Good job!
i never did understand that dungeons and dragons kind of stuff where a dragon breathes fire on a shield that a warrior is holding up and it doesnt melt the shield or burn the arm its on.anyway great piece but seeing your other works im not really that surprised at how good it is
yeah the dragon scale thing is a good idea ,straight out of that old movie dragonslayer.if dragons are as smart as fantasy worlds claim them to be he should just bring his hand down and crush the warrior rather than breathe fire on what im sure he can recognize as scales of his siblings
