This is an artwork that I've just completed for a t-shirt design. T-shirt artwork tends to work better with some fairly strong design element to it. The crossed swords, crossed wings and the stylised cross in the background hopefully do this. The print on the shirt will actually just be in shades of grey with spot red colour, but I though I may as well paint a little of the other colours while I was about it. The shirt is black so quite a lot of the image fades into darkness to suit this. This will be the back print and I've done a cross and dagger logo for the front.

As some of you who are familiar with my art may know, I am a little crazy about dragons. Despite the subject I managed to sneak in two here on her shoulder plates.

As always i love your work, you inspire me so much to do illustrations, i just wish i had more time to spend on them, with work an uni an stuff. this is again a fantastic peice, really atmospheric. I can indeed see the dragons, infact the breast plate itself kinda looks like a dragons head (or is that one of the dragons an im mistaking the wings on the pauldrons for 2 dragons?)

Yes, I usually get samples of the t-shirts I have designed. It is cool when I see someone wearing one of my designs. They probably think I am a bit crazy staring at their chest as they don't know I'm the artist :giggle:
